February 3, 2015 @ 7:30 pm - 9:30 pm

John will review the challenges and advantages of our Nova Scotian climate — wet, foggy, windy, stormy —  for growing and breeding rhododendrons. From the early ‘ironclads’, he will lead us thr0ugh the breeding work of Don Craig, George Swain, Capt Steele and Joe Brueckner to recent breeding work and testing of varieties and species with promise for “this unruly climate of the North Atlantic.”
