Vancouver Island has the mildest climate in Canada and some of the most impressive Rhodo gardens.  The meeting will feature a short presentation on some of the gardens which will be featured from April 21-25 for the American Rhododendron Society Spring Convention.   Current plans include two days of garden tours in the Victoria area on April 21-22, one day touring the Cowichan Valley gardens (April 23) one day of presentations and awards banquet at Qualicum Beach community centre (Friday, April 23) and the final day visiting rhodo gardens in the central Vancouver Island area.
