Annual General Meeting and Bog and Barren to Garden Talk, David Patriquin – zoom meeting

From Bog and Barren to Garden: David Patriquin will talk about the ecology of some common plant species (many of them in the heath family – the Ericaceae) of our bogs and barrens, and how he has introduced some of those species to his garden by replicating critical habitat features within micro-environments in his garden.

David retired from his position as Prof of Biology in 2008. Since then he has been active in several trail, environmental, and conservation groups in the Halifax area.
